How is UpMetrics different from our Grants Management System?

Your grants management system is the administrative backbone of your grantmaking — handling applications, compliance, payments, and relationship tracking.

UpMetrics is the impact data and reporting layer that sits alongside it, covering everything your GMS doesn't do well: framework design, collaborative reporting, qualitative and quantitative data collection, portfolio-level analysis, and external storytelling.

The two can coexist, and most of our foundation customers use both.

How much does UpMetrics cost?

The cost of our impact reporting platform can vary based on platform tiers and accompanying services, as well as your organization's size, goals, and data complexity.

Does UpMetrics integrate with our existing tools and data sources?

UpMetrics connects with the tools most impact organizations already rely on, including Google Sheets, CSV exports, and common grant management systems, so you can centralize existing data without rebuilding your workflows from scratch.

For data that doesn't live in a connected system, our Services team can build custom integrations via API development and/or RPA development.

The goal is a single source of truth that pulls from wherever your data already lives, not a replacement for every tool in your stack.

How long does implementation take?

Implementation time is dependent on the complexity of your data and your team's familiarity with data management tools, but most customers are up and running within four to six weeks.
