Over two days, UpMetrics teammates attended the annual GIIN Impact Forum, joining conversations around how we can better measure, manage, and report impact. Two sessions stood out: Next Frontiers in Impact Measurement and Impact Data: Needs and Norms. Together, they revealed where the field is heading — and how investors can help shape the next chapter of impact reporting.
This event was hosted by Mission Investors Exchange in partnership with the Colorado Health Foundation. It brought together impact leaders from foundations doing impact investing to explore the question - " How can foundations better integrate impact measurement and management (IMM) into the way they invest?"
In this 60-minute Peer Exchange, hosted by UpMetrics' Stephen Minix, we explored how advancement leaders can balance data and intuition to align metrics with mission, strengthen donor relationships, and tell compelling impact stories.

UpMetrics was proud to attend the 3rd annual South Side Strong Summit. This year’s theme, “Connecting Community. Catalyzing Impact,” aligned with our mission to support data-driven strategies for lasting change. We connected with civic and nonprofit leaders focused on community violence intervention, collaboration, and capacity building across the South Side of Chicago.
100+ community members in Southeast Michigan joined us for our first in-person gathering of the Southeast Michigan Community Impact Cohort and leading funders in the social impact sector. This gathering provided a platform for learning, networking, and collaboration to drive meaningful community change.
The Southeast Michigan Community Impact Cohort, launched in January 2025, is supported by Ballmer Group to strengthen nonprofit capacity and drive data-informed decisions across Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb counties. With 30 current grantees, the cohort runs for 3 years.
For over 20 years, the Engage for Good Conference has been the premier event for Corporate Social Impact, bringing together business leaders, nonprofits, and experts to build impactful partnerships. Our Bay Area Cohort gathered for a powerful in-person training and community-building day. Supported by five local funders, grantees are strengthening funder relationships, building data capacity, and reimagining how they tell their story of impact.
 
								
							New York City set the stage for an unforgettable evening as we partnered with SJF Ventures to bring together over 70 impact leaders despite an unexpected rainstorm.
