Calling all UpMetrics Nonprofit Clients!

Tell us about your mission and how you're creating and measuring impact to be featured in our Social Impact Showcase!

Join us for our first-ever Social Impact Showcase - a nationwide initiative and virtual event that aims to elevate and celebrate social impact organizations across the UpMetrics customer community that are making a positive difference in the world.

All nonprofits that participate will be showcased on the UpMetrics website and social channels to drive visibility to their impactful work.

Six shortlisted nonprofits will be selected to showcase their nonprofit in front of potential grantmakers and collaborators during our online event, as well as receive feedback/mentorship on how they're positioning their work to funders prior to the final showcase. 

Plus, one of those six nonprofits will receive a $50,000 grant towards an upcoming initiative or project!

your Impact Framework
Complete your impact framework in UpMetrics to outline your nonprofit's impact goals and objectives in structured and measurable format. Click here for an interactive tutorial.

Film a Video that
Showcases your Work

Film and submit a short 2-3 min video outlining how your nonprofit is driving impact in the world, and how that's reflected in your framework. Click here for video instructions.

Submit your Impact Framework & Video for Consideration

Capture the public link to your Impact Framework from the Leverage section of UpMetrics and submit it alongside your video on our Application Page.

Eligibility

We welcome participation from all nonprofits that are part of our customer community and on a paid version of our platform.

Please Note: Customers on the free Starter Plan tier of our platform are not eligible to participate. If you'd like to participate, please consider upgrading to one of our low-cost monthly subscriptions.

Judging Criteria

The judging to determine the winner of the Social Impact Showcase will look at the following criteria:

  • Is the organization an eligible nonprofit and a current UpMetrics customer? 
  • Has the team adequately explained the main points of their impact framework, as outlined in the video instructions document?
  • Was the presentation impactful?
  • Does the organization's mission show innovation and creativity in improving social issues?

FAQ

Who is eligible to participate?

We welcome participation from all nonprofits that are part of our customer community on a paid version of our plan.

Where and how do I submit my application?

To submit your application, please navigate to the Leverage section of the UpMetrics platform and capture the url link to publicly share your Impact Framework.

Then go to our Social Impact Showcase Application Page to submit your public Impact Framework URL link and your video file.

How do I finalize my Impact Framework?

A finalized Impact Framework will have at least one objective and KII defined for each of the five dimensions of impact - Who, What, Quality, Better Off, and Community Contribution.

What information do I need to include in my application video?

Your video should be 2-3 minutes long and include the following details:

1. Applicant/Organization Overview
  • Your name and job title
  • Your organization’s name and where you’re located
  • Your Mission and Vision
2. Details about your work, structured in the context of the dimensions of your impact framework
  • Who: Who are you serving - e.g Demographics / characteristics, # of recipients
  • What: What are you delivering and how much - e.g Services, supports, products, capital
  • Quality: What is the quality of your delivery - e.g NPS, utilization, retention
  • Better Off: How are those who you are serving better off?
  • Community Contribution: With a lens of contribution (vs. attribution) how does your work contribute to the positive advancement of community level measures?
  • Key Impact Indicators (KIIs): What metrics are you using to measure impact across the dimensions described above
3. Your process for creating and finalizing your Impact Framework
  • Ex. Who was involved, what did the process/discussions look like, how long did it take

4. How does your organization's mission show innovation and creativity in improving social issues?

5. How has having a structured impact framework helped or supported your work?

  • OR if you’ve only recently created your framework - How do you anticipate having a framework will help your organization going forward (how do you plan to leverage it)?

Are there application fees?

There are no fees to apply, however we're only accepting applications from organizations that are part of the UpMetrics customer community.

Are there any parameters on how we can use the money if we receive the grant award?

No! We believe you know better than anyone how those grant dollars should be used!

What if we're not currently an UpMetrics Client?

As the primary purpose of this showcase is to celebrate the incredible work being done across our customer community, non-customers are currently not eligible to apply or receive the grant award.

We'd encourage you to consider subscribing to one of our low-cost monthly plans to be included in the pool of eligible customer applications.

Can I resubmit my application if I want to improve it?

Yes! You can resubmit your application at any point up until the application deadline on November 8, 2024.
