C.H.A.M.P.S. Male Mentoring's mission is to Educate, Empower, and Expose Boys and Young Men of Color beyond the four walls of the school in order to help them to achieve their dreams and goals.

C.H.A.M.P.S. Male Mentoring ensures all young men have a safe space to explore their identity and creativity through innovative activities.
Their Champs Community Program offers weekly mentorship, centered around our 3 E’S Gold Star Program Model which offers various activity styles such as:

Using Data & UpMetrics to Drive their Mission Forward
When asked how UpMetrics has helped their organization further their mission, C.H.A.M.P.S. Male Mentoring shared the following:
- Data Collection & Management: Prior to implementing UpMetrics, C.H.A.M.P.S. was using basic spreadsheets and trying our best to collect all data points into one spot. UpMetrics came along, providing clarity into how we can easily organize and display our data to truly capture the impact of the work we do.
- Storytelling to Drive Recruitment & Funding: The ability to see specific data points and effectively tell our story - not just to stakeholders or funders, but to our community at large - has helped drive engagement and boost recruitment, while also helping us to secure donors, sponsors and long-term partnerships.
- Identifying Insights & Improvements: The impact data we collect and analyze in UpMetrics helps us to identify key areas of focus that are significantly improving the mental well-being of young black & brown boys, and strengthens our ability to provide an effective support system to help them achieve their goals!
